RAD BOARD®

Its function is to provide support for radial access procedures. The Rad Board is reusable, fits all radiology and catheterization laboratory procedure tables, and is reversible for right or left lateral access. A section of Xenolite TB embedded in the Rad Board helps reduce exposure to scattering radiation for added safety. Practical uprights on the sides of the deck form a reservoir with the curtain, keeping the devices and fluids on the deck. Cutting handles allow for convenient movement and transport. All products sold as individual units, not sterile. The Rad Board and its accessories add to Biogen Diagnostics' growing portfolio of products designed to support the radial approach.
RAD BOARD XTRA ™
The Rad Board Xtra Allows a 90º perpendicular extension of the arm during boarding and provides 11 ”(28 cm) of additional workspace when positioned next to the Rad Board. RAD REST®
The Rad Rest armrest has been designed to provide comfortable and ergonomic support for patients' elbow, forearm, and wrist during radial access. The Rad Rest is made of a soft, latex-free material that comfortably stabilizes the patient's arm and optimizes wrist extension during cardiac catheterization and surgery. The Rad Rest is sold in boxes of 10 units, non-sterile, single use. RAD TRAC®
The Rad Trac allows easy placement of the Rad Board® when the patient is on the table. Fits all catheterization and radiology lab benches and is reusable.
ANGIOGRAPHIC NEEDLES
The angiographic needle features a unique connector design, with an ergonomic grip and a reference point to guide the bevel. Its improved edge facilitates entry into the tissues and walls of blood vessels. The angiographic needle is designed for easy insertion of the guide and subsequent removal of the needle through the guide.
SAFETY ANGIOGRAPHIC NEEDLE
The unique design of the safety angiographic needle allows clinicians to easily activate a low-profile safety mechanism that covers the bevel of the needle after use. The connector on this puncture needle is transparent, for visibility, and is designed with an ergonomic texture for easy handling.
SAFETY SCISSORS
The retractable safety scalpel protects doctors and patients when passing the scalpels or disposing of them. The precision stainless steel blade retracts with spring retract technology to minimize the risk of accidental cuts. The anchoring system provides a tactile and audible warning when the blade has been retracted to a safe position. Its one-handed activation combines practicality with a quick response in any surgical procedure.
HYDROPHILIC INTRODUCER
New line of hydrophilic introducers for radial route, the Prelude EASE. Studies have shown that the hydrophilic coating
of sheaths reduces the incidence of arterial spasm during radial procedures and also reduces the amount of force required to insert and remove a radial sheath.

The angiographic needle introducer is convenient, providing the access needle with the sheath introducer. The introducers offer excellent transitions, kink resistance, hassle-free insertion and much more for easy and convenient patient access. All components are conveniently stored in a sleeve to keep them secure, especially the guide wire. The components can be cleaned, while in the case.

PRELUDE® IDEAL INTRODUCTORS
Hydrophilic Prelude IDeal ™ Sheath Introducers offer the benefits of an ultra-thin-walled sheath combined with the support and strength required in a sheath to facilitate catheter manipulation.
The ideal patented technology provides a robust sheath with greater resistance to kinking and compression. The low profile design and excellent transitions help facilitate smooth insertion into the container. The hemostasis valve allows easy manipulation of leads and catheters while maintaining hemostasis.
ACTIVE COAGULATION INTRODUCER
The introducers (activated clotting time) are part of the large family of vascular access products from Biogen Diagnóstica. These half-length introducers allow easy blood collection through your side arm, with or without catheters in place. These introducers accommodate a variety of balloons and other interventional devices to meet your clinical needs.
SHUTTERS
The obturators offer optimal circulation and support to monitor the patient's blood pressure once the introducer has been placed. Blood can be drawn through the side arm of the introducer with an obturator in place, preventing re-puncturing of the vein.

The guides are offered as stand-alone products, packaged in a flat ring for your convenience.
